It's a rare treat to experience improvisation not only of musical soloing, but of complete forms, and lyrics; which I always find astounding. Went to Dan's Silver Leaf in Denton, Texas, on Monday, and witnessed Paul Slavens doing his thing- which might be anything. Talented man. (www.texclectic.com) Check him out if you get a chance!
